Our Staff Meet the Team

Malcolm’s love for work is evident, but when he’s not at work, he is committed to being involved in the community. His hobbies include telling a good yarn, navigating Lake Taupō, tending his lawns, and testing out his golf swing.

Beyond the office, Nic is a proud father of five. You’ll often find him spending time with his family, conquering KM’s on a cycle trainer or mountain bike, and carving it up on the pickle ball court (it’s not just for oldies!). You may also find Nic enjoying fishing and scuba diving.

Outside the office, you’ll find John sea fishing, cooking, reading, or helping out with the odd building job. John recently purchased an E-bike, so you may see him exploring the area on two wheels.

Geoff embraces a balanced life outside the office, spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, swimming, and all forms of cycling.

Beyond work, Andrea has an adventurous spirit. Andrea has swum across the lake, completed biking trips in Vietnam and Cambodia, and embraced new challenges like mountain biking with an e-bike (game-changer!). You may also catch Andrea spending as much time as she can with her grandchild in Hamilton.

With a unique career detour Steve spent three years as a ‘Race Technician’ at Turoa Ski Resort, he specialised in setting out ski race courses and running timed events. Beyond insurance, Steve’s passion for the outdoors shines through in his love for skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, and hiking.

Beyond the office, Jenny spends time with her family and enjoys her favourite sports: swimming, biking, and running.

Beyond insurance, Richard contributes to the local disc golf community as part of the organising committee. He’s not just running tournaments; he’s also instrumental in maintaining one of the best disc golf courses in NZ at Spa Park. Richard is also a qualified chef, though nowadays he finds more joy in a weekend BBQ cook-up.

Between keeping up with two teenagers and running a business with her husband, you’ll find Te Ana spending time on the boat with her family, socialising at happy hour or winning a handful (or more) of radio competitions.

Casper loves travelling and exploring new places, both within the country and abroad. Having recently moved to Taupō, Casper looks forward to starting his next adventure in the Waikato area.

Carl is a proud parent to three kids, each carving their paths through various parts of NZ and Australia. Beyond his professional life, Carl finds joy in watching all sports, playing darts, competing in quizzes, travelling, and indulging in a diverse selection of bourbons. A DIY enthusiast, Carl appreciates the satisfaction of hands-on projects, adding another layer to his busy life.

Beyond the office, Robyn finds joy in relaxing with a good book and embarking on tiki tours around the country.

In her free time, you’ll find Pam immersing herself in a good book, catching up on British TV dramas, doing pilates and spending time with friends and family, including her baby granddaughter.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys walking and exploring nature, venturing onto e-bike trails, which may take a slight detour to a vineyard. You may also find her attending concerts, supporting Ford, or spending time with her children and grandchildren.
